Daniel Go founds Paramount in May 1950

The company started its non-life insurance business as Paramount Insurance & Surety Corporation, quickly establishing a strong market presence in the small-medium retail business segment. Semper Insurance Corp established as an extension of Paramount

At Paramount, we are committed to using resources wisely and encourage our employees to do their part in protecting our planet. Through volunteering time and effort, we strive to work together to strengthen relationships as we contribute to the bettering of our natural world.

Tree Planting at La Mesa Watershed

On November 9, 2015 our volunteers donated and planted 150 seedlings at the La Mesa Watershed Foundation. They received training beforehand on tips to ensure the longevity, growth and survival of the young plants.

Building Better Communities

We are passionate about serving our community, and helping to build sustainable communities through participating in livelihood projects and community service programs. Our employees participate in these events to share their expertise and provide support to charitable causes.

Solar Panel kit installation in Sarangani Province

Paramount launched Project Shine in partnership with Stiftung Solarenergie Network, the program focused on providing solar-powered lights to the off-grid communities in Sarangani Province. Last August 5, 2019 Project Shine volunteers went to Saragani Province and installed solar panel kits benefiting a total of 48 homes in Sitio Tabunan & Sitio Sapaw.

Activities for the Elderly

Last July 21, 2018, 60 employee volunteers went to Hospicio de San Jose. The aim of the visit was to help keep the elderly connected with the society as well as make them feel loved and cared for. A total of 75 people from Hospicio de San Jose(HDSJ) joined the activity. Volunteers organized various activities like playing games, dancing, and videoke challenge to keep everyone engaged and hyped up. Of course, no gathering is complete without food, volunteers and everyone from HDSJ shared a simple feast to celebrate the day

Museo Pambata Art Activity & Museum Tour

Last March 24, 2018. In partnership with Museo Pambata, Paramount sponsored kids from Hospicio de San Jose, allowing them to experience the fun learning activities on the museum’s educational tour and art sessions. Best of all, 35 kids and 45 volunteers went home all smiles that day!

Improving quality of life

Our company highly prioritizes the well-being of our employees, as well as the well-being those that are part of the communities that we live in. We continually challenge ourselves to stay true to this mission by finding innovative ways and partnerships in order to create programs and events to support our communities' health and welfare.

Blood Letting Drive with Red Cross

Our annual Blood Letting program continues to help save lives through blood donation. The activity was held last October 4, 2019 wherein 55 employees signed up and 31 volunteers successfully donated blood to the campaign.

Relief efforts for Taal Evacuees

On January 24, Paramount representatives headed by Miss Diana Lao, Head of Human Resources, in close coordination with the local government unit, went to Alfonso, Cavite to personally hand out Paramount relief packs which included towels, clothes, tableware, food , medicines and hygiene kits to the evacuees at Saint John Nepomuceno Parish. An estimate of 50 families and 200 individuals were present during the relief operations.

Activities for Cancer Patients

Paramount volunteers went last September 15, 2018 to NHC and visited the children’s ward wherein volunteers got a chance to talk to the families and learn about the different conditions that the kids were experiencing. Volunteers distributed simple tokens/ gifts from Paramount (toys and food). A total of 39 volunteers signed up for the activity and were able to reach out to 180 patients.
